  1. Thanks for mentioning my Halo Effect article, Patrik!

Hi Patrik, great list and no, I don’t do #17. 🙂 I would like to add my labelling exercise. Grab a pad and write down ALL your labels; father, son, brother, friend, neighbour, lover, martial artist, cook etc. Everything, exhaust it. Take a few days over it and ask your friends, family and colleagues to add to it. Then, go through it carefully and decide on one label that’s missing that you’d like to have, EG: entrepreneur, inventor, property investor etc. Last, decide what one step you could take to attaining that label, and take it. 🙂

  3. What a complete list! Good work putting it together. The most important to me are cold showers, get out of debt, and always be learning.

To me, these three things have massive carryover into many of the other areas.

Keep up the good work, Patrik

Had to come back and reread this post because I was having a down morning and remembered what a great kick it gave me when I first pursued it! I love that the advice is so practical: it IS empowering to know what to do in emergencies, and it is great to know how to take decent photos! Great to remember that improving your life can be as simple as stepping outside, prepping a meal or putting your money in the right place. Go us.

  5. Hey, I believe in number 30 – however the paradox is that we probably need to follow the other 49 to do it successfully! 🙂

  6. How come I only just came across this article now??
